I was told that I would NEVER be a voiceperson.....

 

Because I was a mouth breather with a deviated spetum, i had a raspy bottom end, siblent "s",over-aspiration, underbite that whistled slightly, nasal back end....you name it. I am here to disprove the myth, that you need a "good" voice to do voicework! Wrong!

 

It has nothing to do with that and I'm still doing it after 30 years! It is about connecting to the authentic creative self who longs to be heard and is sitting dormant. To break any and all preconditioning. I guarantee to inspire and ignite passion beyond any that the experienced professional will have ever witnessed! Mine is a journey through the unknown depths of the creative storyteller that has been forced to shutdown, to 'be quiet', to 'speak when spoken
to', to 'be seen, not heard'.

 

For I believe that every being possesses a vast array of infinitely expressive characters that long to be set free and in setting them free, we ourselves connect to an ancient rite, where we communicate to each other through stories and delight all with our ability to breathe life into the characters of said stories!Once we re-awaken our authentic voice, we become a tool that takes our listeners to their authentic voice which screams from within- a desire to feel!

 

My task is to enliven the deadened potential of all storytellers. Each voicers unique stamp can be revealed, rather than the borrowing or imitation of other unique placements, their own journey of expressive selves will be revealed and hopefully catalogued. How to technically address specific issues of placement, compression, aspiration, age, size, texture, accents, gender, rythms will be addressed.

Vocal placement and coaching with me will teach you to "un"voice. I seduce through fun, the jewels of the vocal
instrument, by using pencils, water, the tongue, hands, the imagination, you name it, as props to strengthen and develop certain lazy muscularity. Laughter is key and a playground of possibility is presented with hand outs to be experimented with at home, while several volunteers from the crowd tackle specific exercises.

Learn to morph the human instrument to create new characters, human SFX, and placement in your voice that will assist you in creating something that sets you apart in the industry but remains uniquely you in ways you thought were never possible. Whether you are human, animal, machine, vegetable, inanimate object, a monster, otherworldly, an entity or GOD, everything has a voice that is unique and exciting to develop. My effervescent personality is contagious and frees up the most solid of participants as I leap into the land of TOON, yodeling, braying, snorting, honking and raspberrying, inviting all to partake and share in the wonder of self expression!

I can provide you with one on one coaching via one hour Skype sessions from the comfort of your home studio at a rate of $100 per hour and a half session. Demo Production:

 

When you are prepared to record your demo, that is something myself and my production team can assist you with! I will provide you with extensive homework to prepare for and make sure that your demo exhibits the best of your creative talents. We spend no less than 75 hours in post production on our demos and it shows in the quality of work that is produced.
